In 2015 I created an open printmaking studio: D.M. Penny Press, over the years I acquire several presses and equipment which allowed me to I explore various techniques of printmaking: Intaglio, Dry Point, Lino Cuts, Wood Block, Solar Prints and Photo Lithography. Over the last several years my focus has gravitated block prints. In addition to my own printmaking, the equipment was available to other printmakers for a small monthly fee.
In June of 2024, I closed the open studio in Manchester and moved my studio to Henniker NH. Its on the second floor, and there is no elevator. So most of my equipment is in storage. The only press in the new space is a small 15x30 in etching press. So I am current using this as a private studio. In the future I hope to be able to open the studio again.
